Pavilion Location
Considering the extremely high costs of the construction and subsequent dismantling of the pavilion, the exposition of the Czech Republic will be located in a 2,000 m² module, built by the organizer, where the interior and exterior may be adapted to our own needs. Together with this module, we have obtained from the organizers a 160 m² space free of charge, in front of the pavilion which we will use for cultural-social activities. In consideration of the expected record attendance, it was the primary intent of the Commissioner General Office to get an attractive spot for the Czech pavilion. This is why we have, from the very beginning, tried for a location near one of the main entrances, a metro station and the main pedestrian communication road of EXPO near the European Attractions Park. There is the European Plaza in its immediate vicinity, which will be used as stage for various cultural events.
