Shanghai, 31/7/2010
Shanghai, July 31th 2010: Lea Petříková, the absolute winner of the student’s competition announced by the Czech Section of EXPO 2010 visited Czech Pavilion today. The 17-years old author and her teacher who supervised the work Mrs. Kamila Svobodová welcomed Pavilion Director Miloslava Kumbárová and Events Manager Martina Hončíková. Lea Petříková took a view at the placement of her work and the whole pavilion too and said: “I like the Czech Pavilion a lot and I am happy that my work can be a part of it: I mostly appreciated the exhibits by Jakub Nepraš and his technique of connecting the objects and videos.“
The grammar school student from Teplice won the competition intended for the grammar schools and called “What will make my city and life in it better in 20 years” with a film spot called „Better city, better life,“ which is the same as the motto of the whole EXPO. The video clip to which she also composed her own music became a part of the Czech Pavilion and is being presented to the visitors on the TV screen in the ribbon at the entry to the pavilion.
