EXPO: Czech Regions are presenting to China

On Saturday July the 17th the Day of Region sis being organised at the World Exhibition EXPO 2010: at the festive start were present the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in China, H.E. Libor Sečka, Commissioner General Pavel Antonín Stehlík, presidents od the regions Milada Emmerová (Pilsen Region) a Jana Vaňhová (Ústí Region),Stanislav Eichler (Liberec Region) and Josef Novotný (Karlovy Vary Region).
„I would like to welcome the visitors in front of one of the most populár pavilions at EXPO. I hope this presentation of the Czech regions will open a new era of the friendship between the Czech Republic and People’s Republic of China,“ told the Commissioner General in front of the full auditorium on the European Square. The Ambassador, H.E. Libor Sečka said: “I would like to wish to Czech and Chinese regions cooperation as many success as possible.“
The regions of the Czech Republic are presenting themselves under the direction of the CzechTourism as ideal tourist destination – visitors can taste regional specialities and watch the on the stage of the European Square in front of the Czech Pavilion change the folk music and dance of the group Iršava, Czech songs of the 30th of the music group Těžká pára and modern combination of the classical and beat music performed by the violin player and singer Zina. The all day program is being accompanied by the quize competition when the visitors answer the questions connected with the Czech Republic.
