EXPO 2010: The Czech Pavilion will have part of its exposition in front of the building entrance
Prague, January 13th, 2010 – The Commissioner General Office (CGO) of the Czech participation at the World Exposition EXPO 2010 in Shanghai has acquired permission to build a unique architectural element in front of the entrance to the Czech Pavilion. An elegant spiral will rise up by the main entrance, providing visitors with information about the Czech Republic and its pavilion, and simultaneously functioning as a refuge from the sun and rain. The Czech pavilion will therefore offer a unique show, a strong experience during the exposition visit and maximum care and comfort to EXPO 2010 visitors.

The creators of the Czech pavilion present their scale model as part of the national exposition
The Commissioner General for the participation of the Czech Republic in the EXPO 2010 World Exposition, Ing. Pavel Antonín Stehlík, MBA together with Ing. arch. Jaromír Švarc, the Director of Film Dekor, spol. s.r.o., today presented a scale model of the Czech pavilion along with 1:1 scale modules in which the individual exhibits of the national exhibition will be housed. On 28th April, the Czech Republic will occupy its pavilion which has an area of over 2,000 m² and a daily visitor capacity of up to 30,000 people, as the first of nearly two hundred hosting countries.
