Weddings at EXPO

The French lure visitors to romantic nuptials in their pavilion.

In competition of more than 230 countries and international organizations, each of the EXPO 2010 participants attempts to attract as much attention as possible. France invites the marriage-minded Chinese couples to say their "I do" at the World Exposition’s French pavilion. The background will be a floating French-style garden in the heart of the pavilion, where the wedding ceremony will be conducted by the Commissioner General himself. The lucky ones, whose names will be drawn in a lottery, will, besides the wedding, spend their honeymoon in France, particularly in the city of Tours and in the chateaus of the Loire Valley.
